Wir sind seit drei Tagen in Udaipur, Sued-Rajasthan. Von hier aus haben wir den Rest der Reise geplant und organisiert.

Wir werden Mitte der Woche mit dem Zug ueber Mumbai nach Goa fahren und einige Tage in Palolem Beach verbringen. Nach gepflegter Langeweile an Pool und Strand wird es uns unweigerlich nach Norden ziehen, zurueck nach Mumbai. Die groesste Stadt Indiens stellt auch den Endpunkt unserer Reise dar, da unser Flug nach Hause vom dortigen internationalen Flughafen ausgeht. Wenn alles klappt, werden wir puenktlich zum Weihnachtsmarkt wieder in Frankfurt sein.

Und: obwohl das indische Essen teuflisch lecker ist, hat es gestern Ju umgehauen. Das dritte Mal. Ich erklaerte mich solidarisch, fastete und langweilte mich mit ihr. Ist schliesslich Fastnacht – Helau!

We are in Udaipur now. It is a little more relaxed and a little cleaner than what we’ve seen so far.
Nevertheless I got the runs again yesterday. 3rd time – and counting… Maybe I shouldn’t eat anything at all here.
My cold/flu is pretty persistent. But with the degree of pollution an average indian city is blessed with, that is no surprise.

Basically we are hanging out here in Udaipur. We plan to visit the city palace and watch traditional dancing in a haveli. But that’s it. In some days we will hop on the train to Mumbai, kill some hours there and hop on the next train to Goa. Hopefully without any illnesses.
